Absolutely. The portal is designed to complement your existing job search. You can continue using recruiters, LinkedIn, job boards, your personal network and direct applications.

Your visibility preferences are discussed during onboarding so that your profile can be positioned appropriately. If confidentiality is important, this should be highlighted before your profile is made visible.

You complete your professional profile and onboarding process, where we align your experience, career goals, availability and market preferences. Your profile can then be positioned for relevant visibility through the platform and network.

Potential employers and recruiters can find your profile on the portal. 

No career platform can guarantee employment. Careers for Accountants is designed to improve one of the most important factors in a job search: being visible to more of the right people at the right time.

The Immediately Available Portal is a career visibility service for the professional rather than a traditional recruitment placement model.

Therefore we do not take a placement fee from the employer, this is why they will prefer to hire you versus another candidate with the same skill set and experience. 

Your profile remains active according to the portal membership terms, but you should update your status as soon as your availability changes or you secure your next role. 

As you deactivate your profile, we will update the system so that your subscription fee stops. Deactivations need to take place before the 25th of each month so that we can review and update our system. (It is important that you connect with us via our LinkedIn Page as soon as possible if the subscription fee continues the following month).
